Hot off the press! The Hyundai N x MiniGT Ioniq 5N "RS-01T" collab recently debuted at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon, and we were given the HUGE honor is being able to help out with it!
The Assignment
The project, handled by MiniGT's very own Glen Chou and overseen by our friend Chris Marion, was aimed to be a child's dream toy - a real life version of the extreme modifications normally only afforded to toy cars. As a team, we were handed the car in August, being given only ~70 days to build the car. That meant that Epsilon only had about half that time, as the other time was needed to finish the vinyl, graphics, and the other portions of the vehicle.
The Setup
Hyundai graciously provided us the marketing CAD data for the car, but historically we do not consider this accurate enough for our needs. As such, we went ahead and got our own scans using our Artec Leo.
Once the scan data was completed, we began to process the data and designing the wing.
The first few revisions of the wing miss the mark, citing far too much complexity and aggression. But it was go big or go home, right?
Pulling inspiration from the WRC Polo R and the i20N WRC, we made revisions to the wing, getting closer to the final result - seen here!
Once designing was complete, it was time to get the prints started. These were printed on our Modix 60X, 120X, and 180X printers. The material was a mix of ABS and PETG, depending on what the part was. This was then taken over to Chris' shop to finalize the install.
After that, it was time to let the rest of the team to their work. The team at VIMadness did the graphics package, our buddy Chad did an excellent job post-processing the parts, and Blake Chase from Chase Motors finalized the wrap and graphics.
The car was then freighted over to Tokyo, to be debuted with Hyundai at TAS!

MiniGT even debuted the casting of the toy as well, using the barebones of the model we created - very cool!
