11th Gen

The 11th Gen Civic Lip Kit Is Now Available — Designed in the USA, Molded in Polyurethane

Red 11th gen Honda Civic fitted with the full Epsilon+ polyurethane lip kit, side profile

It's here. The complete 11th gen Honda Civic lip kit — front lip, side skirts, and rear lip — has landed in the warehouse and is shipping now. No more pre-order queue, no more estimated dates. Order it today and it goes out from our shop.

This is the kit we've been building toward since the FE/FL platform launched: a matched set of pieces that reads as one design rather than three parts from three different catalogs. Front, sides, and rear were drawn together, so the character lines carry from the front splitter edge through the skirt and into the rear apron. It's the OEM-plus look we chase on every Epsilon+ release — aggressive enough to change the car's stance, restrained enough that it looks like Honda could have shipped it that way.

Designed in the USA

Every piece in this kit was designed in-house in the United States. Not licensed, not traced from someone else's mold, not ordered out of an overseas catalog and rebadged. Our team scanned the cars, modeled the parts, printed prototypes, and test-fit them on real Civics in our own shop before a single production mold was cut.

That matters for one reason above all others: fitment. When the people drawing the part are the same people bolting it to a car on a Saturday, the gaps get closed before tooling. Our mounting points line up with factory holes because we measured factory holes. The panel gaps are tight because we chased them down on a physical car, not on a screen. And when a customer emails us about a fitment question, they're talking to the people who designed the part — not a distributor three steps removed from the manufacturer.

Why Polyurethane Beats the ABS Standard

Most of the lip kits sold for this chassis are molded in ABS — a rigid thermoplastic that's cheap to tool, cheap to ship, and cheap to mold. It's become the default in this segment for exactly those reasons. We don't use it, and here's why.

Polyurethane flexes. ABS breaks. Polyurethane is an elastomer, which means it deflects under load and then returns to shape. ABS is rigid, which means it absorbs impact by cracking. On a lip kit — the lowest, most exposed bodywork on the car — this is the whole ballgame. Every steep driveway, every parking block, every speed bump you misjudge is a load event. A polyurethane lip scuffs and springs back. A rigid lip develops a stress crack that spreads every time you flex it again.

Cold weather doesn't make it brittle. Rigid thermoplastics get more brittle as temperature drops, which is why so many cracked lips show up in the winter months. Polyurethane stays pliable across a much wider temperature range, so a January curb tap behaves the same as a July one.

It survives shipping. Our pieces ship folded and unfold with light heat — a heat gun or twenty minutes on a sunny driveway brings them back to shape. That's only possible because of the material's memory, and it means the part is far less likely to arrive damaged in the box. Rigid parts have to ship in oversized, heavily packed cartons and still turn up cracked at the corners.

It takes paint and holds finish. Our pieces come in a semi-gloss black unpainted finish that looks finished as-is, and they take paint cleanly with a flex additive if you'd rather match your body color.

The honest trade-off: polyurethane tooling costs more, and the material is heavier per part. That's why rigid plastic dominates the budget end of this market. We think a lip kit that's still on the car after two years of real driveways is worth the difference.

Side Skirts — Civic Sedan/Hatchback (FE/FL, 2022+)

Sold as a pair, with the EPSILON+ mark molded into the piece. The skirts are what tie the kit together — they visually drop the car's profile and connect the front lip to the rear apron.
