The Toyota MR2 Spyder TC Wing is a complete swan-mount wing kit for the ZZW30 chassis — TC wing element, endplates, mounting cradles, and the chassis-specific bases and uprights, all in one part number.

Inspired by FIA GT4 classes of vehicles, the swan-mount arrangement blends moderate downforce with a purposeful stance, and the uprights are matched to the chassis so the wing mounts without fabrication guesswork.

Currently offered in a 47.5" span, swan mount configuration only.

Backed by Real Engineering

  • Structural margin: minimum factor of safety of 5.88 at 10° AoA / 140 mph.
  • Deflection: 15 mm calculated trailing-edge deflection at 130 mph / 10° AoA on the reference 1700 mm span, mounted at the very edge — the structural worst case. A swan mount set inboard of the tips will do better than this number.
  • Fatigue life: estimated mid-to-high 10⁵ full load cycles before fatigue onset.
  • Material: reinforced nylon composite, elastic modulus 8.0–10.5 GPa, tensile strength 180–210 MPa.
  • CFD-verified flow: streamline and vorticity analysis shows clean, attached flow and a thin, stable wake across the design AoA range.

Installation Notes

  • Holes will need to be drilled into the rear radiator support bars, and the trunk will need to be slotted to mount this.
  • No welding required — the kit drills and rivets cleanly.
